Designed to bring relief to the millions of people suffering from any number of forms of insomnia, sleep deprivation, migraine, chronic pain and/or stress, Yoga Sleep Therapy™ offers a specialized combination of gentle postures, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques to help you unwind, fall asleep, and to allow you to sleep soundly through the night.
Interweaving Hatha Yoga, Qigong, Yin Yoga, restorative practices and creative dreamwork, Yoga Sleep Therapy™ is at the cutting-edge of holistic health science and complimentary medicine yet remains accesible to the complete beginner. At it's core is iRest Yoga Nidra, a profound meditative practice that leads to lasting psychological, physical and spiritual well-being and supports you being at ease in every life circumstance. Evidence-based research has shown the effectiveness of iRest in treating hypertension, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders and chemical dependency. Its far-reaching benefits are employed by the U.S. military in the treatment of veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as by Montessori Schools in helping children to express their emotions and build a healthy sense of self.
Additionally, Yoga Sleep Therapy brings awareness to the behavioral patterns that prevent us from accessing long-lasting peace. Yoga Sleep Therapy™ helps you to establish positive routines to quiet the mind, relieve the body, and to uncover and flush out the roots of suffering, allowing you to heal and access complete restoration throughout your day and night, adding years to your life and life to your years.

About COMO Shambhala Estate
COMO Shambhala Estate (CSE) is a residential health retreat that promises total commitment to the pursuit of personal potential and improved wellbeing, fusing holistic wellness with state-of-the-art facilities and exceptional villa accommodation. Uniquely located on the banks of the pristine Ayung river close to a natural spring, CSE is a mere 15 minutes north of Ubud, a small but lively town that is regarded as Bali's cultural hub.
Design and architecture were overseen by Cheong Yew Kuan, the man who designed the original Begawan Giri, and accommodation at the Estate is among the most spacious of its kind. CSE unites Asian and European influences, high-spec fixtures, handmade furniture, Indonesian artefacts and architectural details that exude the spirit of the region. Wherever possible local stone, wood, and traditional Alang-Alang roofing were used to create an environmentally sound and aesthetically pleasing building style. Each Residence is uniquely private, and no two are alike.
CSE health facilities include nine treatment rooms (including two for couples), an outdoor hydrotherapy area, swimming pool, Yoga room, Pilates studio and a separate male/female steam and sauna, a fully equipped gym with dramatic views, and consultation rooms. The Water Garden – made up of a steam, hot tub, and four pavilions, each with expansive rest areas and outdoor baths and showers – occupies a hidden zone above the river. All CSE facilities utilize water from The Source, a natural spring revered by locals for its healing properties.

"CSE nails what I want in an escape - luxurious unique surroundings, architecture sympathetic to the natural landscape (the grounds are stunning), healthy AND delicious food, stylish yet understated interiors, great service, amazing spa, and range of complimentary activities such as yoga, estate walks etc. to help you feel good inside and out."
(Jo Parker, Melbourne)
"A haven for dharma-seekers. Head-clearing lime ginger tea, waterfall gardens spewing sacred water, fire pits blazing after dark. And arguably most important of all, you're treated like a resident, not a guest."
(Chip Conley, Founder and CEO of Joie de Vivre Hospitality)
"What a great property! - Well cared with a fine touch of local yet trendy style. We were greeted and treated as privileged guests, not just cold room numbers. Spa, food, and staff were outstanding too."

"I've been practicing yoga & meditation for over fifteen years and have a lot of great teachers but you're the best. I love how your approach is so different and complete, much more than just postures. I don't know what it is, but something inside of me has shifted." (Betsy, Western Massachusetts) |

"I remember you kept telling us throughout the practice that the more we "gave ourselves" to the dance, the deeper we would go – the more we would receive. That resonated with me, and I allowed myself to totally surrender to the movement. It was an unexpected breakthrough in healing my issues with trust. Thank you for creating the sacred space and atmosphere for an experience like this to unfold." (Shanti, New York) |
